LITTLE MISS AND MISTER 4th of JULY PAGEANT The Little Miss & Mister 4th of July Pageant for children has four categories: boys and girls ages 4 - 6 & 7 - 9 in each group. Your child should wear patriotic colors and perform a talent if possible. Prizes for the winners include an award and U.S. Savings Bond courtesy of Granite Community Bank. There is no fee to enter. Every boy and girl receives a participation ribbon. Check in time is 3:30 pm at the Gold Country Court at the fairgrounds. LIONS FOURTH OF JULY PARADE Interested in entering your group or organization in the parade? You must pre-register by the end of the business day on Wednesday, June 25. There is a $10 entry fee (Waived for Veterans groups). After June 25 the entry fee increases to $20. View parade route here. The theme for 2007 is "Pride In America." $100 cash awards will be offered to the winners in each of three categories: best decorated, best performance and best overall. Adherence to the theme will be a prime judging criteria, and only those who pre register will be eligible for judging.
